Rexer Analytics President, Karl Rexer, was the invited seminar speaker at the April 2019 Boston University Statistics@Work Speaker Series. Boston University’s MS in Statistical Practice invites leading industry Data Scientists to give monthly seminars to expose their graduate students to data-centric challenges that accompany careers in Data Science, and the ways in which statistical training can help meet those challenges.Approximately 40 students attended Karl’s April seminar, where he described recent data science consulting engagements, discussed analytic commonalities across industries, and highlighted the importance of keeping analytics tightly focused on measurable business goals.
