PricewaterhouseCoopers has released their 2017 Finance Effectiveness Benchmark Report, Stepping up: How finance functions are transforming to drive business results. The 69-page report is the culmination of a year-long effort led by PwC’s US and UK Directors of Finance Benchmarking: Ed Shapiro and Andrew McCorkell. The report explores what sets top performing finance functions apart using PwC benchmark data from over 600 projects and interviews with dozens of international finance and business leaders. The report also contains case studies describing finance function advances underway at leading companies such as GE Oil & Gas, GlaxoSmithKline, Royal Mail Group, Becton Dickinson, Sage, British American Tobacco, Informa and others. Rexer Analytics has assisted PwC’s multinational team with the data analysis and production of their 2013, 2015 and 2017 Finance Benchmark Reports.
